Rudy

Introducing the future flock guardian (we hope!). Rudy is a very energetic Komondor. He so far loves socks, cats, herding the sheep, and lunging off of furniture.
Rudy goes to visit Myah and the sheep but still slithers through the gate when the visit is over!
It has been hard to leave Tugger behind. I walk to his grave many times wishing I could bring him back. At five years old he matured into such a perfect livestock guardian and companion.
Rudy will eventually mature and hopefully full fill Tuggers' paws. They are big ones to fill.
I don't know guardian or lounger? Hmm...time will tell.

Bone Cancer is a monster. How do you tell your best friend it is time to go?

Tugger, I miss you everyday.   It has been only been 1 1/2 months yet it seems so long ago.

In memory of Tugger who was released from
osteosarcoma (bone cancer) on June 19, 2013.  R.I.P. I will miss your
happy face everyday.

      I Only Wanted You

They say memories are golden
well maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories,
I only wanted you.

A million times I needed you,
a million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place
no one could ever fill.

If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.

Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.
